The Veenker Memorial Golf Course driving range is the ideal location for perfecting every aspect of your game.
Driving Range Hours
The driving range remains open when temperatures are in the 50's. During the "off season", the Performance Center may also be avialable.
As daylight and weather conditions permit, the range will open 1/2 hour prior to the first scheduled tee time. The doors to the ball machine will close 1/2 hour prior to sunset.
Credit/Debit cards may be used at the driving range or a pin number may be purchased at the clubhouse to operate the ball machine. Pricing may be found on our Rates page.
USAGE GUIDELINES
Practice greens and sand bunker are provided for general use at no charge.
Please use the following guidelines when practicing at the range:
- Use only designated areas.
- Do not remove balls from the range area. Range balls are the property of Iowa State University and are for use only on the range.
- Picking up balls for reuse is prohibited.
- Practice clubs are available at no charge in the clubhouse.
- Veenker reserves the right to restrict people from using any or all of the practice facilities if conditions warrant.
